ZEOS enables the reimbursement of waste luminary management costs to the exporters of luminaries for which waste luminary management costs were paid to ZEOS. The procedure is as follows:
Exporters' documents necessary for the reimbursement of WEEE management costs:
- an invoice confirming the payment of WEEE management costs
- confirmation by the importer of luminaries of the receipt of exported luminaries
The exporter notifies ZEOS of the amount of exported luminaries through Black Box and submits a claim for the reimbursement of waste luminary management costs already paid to ZEOS
Through Black Box, ZEOS issues a credit note for the amount of exported luminaries, after deducting the administrative costs of Black Box.
Black Box verifies:
- whether the export of luminaries really took place / whether the importer really received the stated amount of luminaries
- whether WEEE management costs for the exported luminaries were really paid to ZEOS.
